This year Goody Clancy received a 2009 Regional American Planning Association Award in Outstanding Planning.
- The South Coast Rail Corridor Plan was awarded the 2009 Presidents Award.

Wichita Endorses Goody Clancy for Downtown Plan
The Wichita Downtown Revitalization Steering Committee has unanimously endorsed Goody Clancy's team to lead Wichita's downtown planning process, with City Council vote on the recommendation scheduled for October 13. According to the City news release, Goody Clancy was chosen for its “impressive economic analysis, proven implementation success and multiple strategies for public engagement to develop a grand vision.”
Emory/Clifton Design Guidelines Wins 2009 SCUP Excellence in Planning Award
Goody Clancy's work for Emory University's Clifton Community Partnership (CCP) to develop Urban Design Guidelines for the 3-mile radius surrounding the heart of Emory's campus received a 2009 SCUP (Society for College and University Planning) Excellence in Planning for a District or Campus Component Merit Award.

Goody Clancy’s work with Emory University’s Clifton Community Partnership to create a collaborative vision and urban design guidelines has been honored by a 2008 Boston Society of Architects Campus Planning Award.
Goody Clancy Leads New Orleans Master Plan/CZO
The New Orleans City Planning Commission recently chose Goody Clancy to lead a team of national and New Orleans experts to prepare a citywide Master Plan and a new Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance (czo). Goody Clancy had previously prepared several district recovery plans as part of the Unified New Orleans Plan process. The Master Plan will be a comprehensive plan for the future of the city.
